Relines
With your yearly check-ups and/or free consultations
The appearance (teeth) of your denture is not changing rather the inside of your denture is readapted to the changing shape of your tissue (gums).
Tissue changes occurs when:
You age over time
Lose teeth
Lose weight
Become ill or diseased
Relines are usually done within the same day as the appointment.
Hard Relining (Permanent Hard)
Readapting the tissue side of your existing denture using material similar to your denture base (pink portion).
Soft Relining (Permanent Semi-Soft)
Readapting the tissue side of your existing denture using a semi-soft material. This is recommended mostly for severe lower jaw resorption to provide some cushioning for the tissues when chewing.
